Deputy Athletic Director for Operations and Campus Recreation
Maguire Athletic Center and Hagan Arena
Dedicated men’s and women’s basketball athletic training and practice facilities allow Saint Joseph’s to compete with peers when it comes to recruiting and retaining top student-athletes. Separate and equal training facilities reflect the University’s commitment to success in both programs.
A 11,000 square foot indoor turf training facility will benefit all sports, impacting more than 482 student-athletes.
Saint Joseph’s remains more committed than ever to holistic student-athlete development. Dedicated athletic training and strength and conditioning facilities for the basketball programs will enhance care for the body which complements the care for mind and spirit.
A multi-use space looking over the turf training facility will serve as an additional training area for track and field programs.
College athletics is a living and breathing part of the total Saint Joseph’s experience. It’s a source of pride and loyalty and a convener for the greater community: students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. Dedicated men’s and women’s basketball practice facilities within the Maguire Athletic Center allow Saint Joseph’s to compete with peers when it comes to recruiting, developing and retaining top student-athletes, while the identical training facilities reflect the University’s commitment to success in both programs. Additionally, a refresh to Hagan Arena will provide in-venue hospitality and an enhanced fan experience for all. Construction began in the fall of 2023.
