Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT)
The Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT) at Saint Joseph’s University brings together University and community partners to foster a commitment to safety and promote attitudes and behaviors that aid in the prevention of sexual misconduct. Focusing on education, prevention, and response, the CCRT works to create a campus climate focused on a culturally responsive, trauma‐informed and systemic approach to addressing sexual assault, dating/domestic violence and stalking.
The SJU CCRT meets quarterly and includes representatives from Saint Joseph's faculty, staff and students as well as community partners from Philadelphia and Montgomery counties. Work teams focus on initiatives that support Prevention Education, Victim Services, Law Enforcement/Public Safety, and Student Conduct.
The CCRT was formed in 2017 as an initiative of a campus grant awarded by the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice.
