Student Support & Well-being

Student Support & Well-being offers individual support, guidance and referral to helpful resources for all students during critical incidents and difficult situations. Our staff manage outreach and follow-up care for students who are experiencing crisis or distress that impacts their social, personal, and/or academic stability.

Focused on the nine dimensions of well-being, our team also provides educational opportunities and individual support for students to develop strategies to make healthy choices and to care for themselves and others in a holistic way.

In the Jesuit spirit of caring for the "whole person," Student Support & Well-being offers assistance to students at times when they are in need of additional support. We coordinate support and guidance during difficult situations, or following critical incidents, and foster awareness of University services and resources to help promote the student academic experience at Saint Joseph's University.

Student Support & Well-being advocates for a campus community that supports and empowers students to make healthy lifestyles choices thus fostering academic success and a safer and healthier campus community. Through peer education and collaboration with campus and community organizations, we provide education and support to empower students to make informed and responsible decisions throughout their lives.
