Food Marketing MS
Saint Joseph’s University’s Master of Science in Food Marketing is designed for rising leaders in various food-related enterprises. You will expand your industry knowledge, grow as a critical-thinking leader and study trends in the food and beverage industry. You will learn from experts and a community of professionals in Philly’s only food marketing program.
The food marketing MS can be completed in 30 credits or 10 courses. The curriculum allows you to customize your study to your goals and interests. Students are joined by other professionals and accomplished faculty in dynamic and interactive classroom discussions. While other programs may favor a lecture-style format, food marketing courses are offered seminar-style, where students play an active role in the learning process.
Current undergraduate students can also start earning credits towards the food marketing MS, allowing them to earn a master's degree in just five years. Students interested in this 4+1 program must apply to the graduate program in their junior year and be conditionally accepted before they complete their bachelor's degree. Adult learners also have the opportunity to begin earning a master’s while completing their bachelor’s degree through the Accelerated Master’s Degree Program for Adult Learners.
What Sets Our Program Apart

The food marketing MS offers students the flexibility to choose the format that works best for their schedule and learning style. We offer both an online or on-campus format in this program. The on-campus courses are held on one Friday and one Saturday during the eight-week class, with the remainder of the work completed outside of the class. The online format meets virtually one night a week during the eight-week course with the remainder of the work to be completed on your own time. Work at your own pace by choosing one, two or three courses per term.

The food marketing MS is a stackable program, meaning if you successfully complete the food marketing certificate program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, you can take an additional 6 courses to receive your MS in food marketing. You must submit an application to matriculate into the food marketing MS program.
