I've been working for different business areas within the Volvo Group since 2013. In the process of obtaining my Master's with SJU, I obtained a position within Competence Development as a Learning Management System Analyst. From there, I was able to gain more experience in the learning and development industry. Last year, I interviewed for the same position and did not receive an offer - but I had a great experience and received positive and constructive feedback. This year, another role opened back up and I accepted the offer in May 2022.

The ODL program at SJU really "walks the walk." Not only did we learn about how other adults learn, but those best practices are applied to our classrooms - virtual and face to face. All of my courses were applicable to my current job and helped me strongly communicate my expertise in the field of Learning & Development (L&D.) Notably, my classes in Organizational Change & Culture, Adult Learning: Theory & Application, and Strategic Leadership, Ethics & Values were specifically relevant to the special project I was assigned to.
