Mission
Created by James J. Maguire '58, founder of the Philadelphia Insurance Company, the Maguire Academy of Insurance and Risk Management (Maguire Academy) promotes and supports risk management and insurance education; provides services to risk management and insurance students, including scholarship aid, recruiting, internships/cooperative education, counseling and placement; and supports the Department of Finance, which houses the risk management and insurance program. The Academy is consistently innovating its curriculum, providing rich thought leadership within the industry and connecting students to unmatched career opportunities.
