High School Dual Enrollment
Overview
Experience college education in a state-of-the-art learning environment while getting an early start on your future degree. Dual enrollment allows eligible high school students to enroll in general education courses while completing high school requirements at Saint Joseph's University. This opportunity is available only at the Lancaster location.
Who is Eligible?
High school juniors and seniors who have completed the following may apply for dual enrollment:
- Earned cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater
- Algebra I and II
- Biology with lab
- An advanced science with lab such as chemistry, physics or advanced biology is required when applying for College courses in these disciplines.
What is the Application Process?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year, but we recommend applying by February 1 for the Fall semester or August 1 for the Spring semester.

What is the Cost?
Dual enrollment tuition is 50% off of the normal tuition rate for up to 7 credits per semester, after which the normal tuition rate will be charged.
For the 2024-25 academic year, normal tuition is $683 per credit hour and is $341.50 with the 50% discount. A 3-credit course will cost $1,024.50. An additional lab fee of $285 applies to science courses with a lab. Payment plan options are available. Books are not included in tuition.
