Designed for students who hold a college degree, this program prepares you to take the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exam to become a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.

Saint Joseph’s University’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography Certificate is designed for students who have a college degree. Upon completion of program requirements, you will be eligible to take the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) examinations in physics Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI), abdomen (Abdomen) and obstetrics/gynecology (OB/Gyn). Saint Joseph’s University offers the only Nuclear Medicine Technology Certificate of its kind in Central Pennsylvania. Designed for students who hold a college degree, this certificate program will provide you with the skills and preparation necessary to become a successful nuclear medicine technologist. Upon completion of program requirements, you will be eligible to take the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) exam and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam.

Saint Joseph’s University’s Surgical Technology Certificate will prepare you for a career assisting surgical teams throughout every step of an operation. You will receive specialized instruction, vast clinical experience and guaranteed clinical placements to ensure you have the preparation necessary to become a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). This program is designed for students who hold a degree.

Upon completion of program requirements, you will be eligible to take the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) and the ARDMS Vascular Technology Exam (RVT) board exams. You are also eligible to sit for the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) exam. As a graduate of the certificate program, you will receive the preparation necessary to become an entry level vascular sonographer or vascular ultrasound technologist in a hospital or outpatient center.
