What Sets Our Program Apart
-
The healthcare education doctorate degree program follows a hybrid model, meaning instruction will take place on-campus one night a week, with the remaining instructional hours taking place in an asynchronous online learning. Within the cohort model (new cohorts begin each Fall), students complete three years of coursework, followed by a year of dissertation advisement.
Saint Joseph’s online graduate programs are built for busy working professionals ready for career advancement. You’ll learn real-world skills from accomplished faculty that you can apply to your current job or use to pursue a new career path, no matter where you’re located.
-
Smaller class sizes allow for individualized instruction and attention from faculty, opportunity for hands-on learning and build a community with peers. The program has evidence to demonstrate achievement of student competence and program outcomes.
-
The graduate program offers a unique approach to healthcare education. Students will follow two styles of instruction in their courses:
- Content Courses: This track prepares students to cover theories, subject-matter knowledge, and professional skills.
- Research Courses: This track provides students the opportunity to cover concepts and skills for designing, conducting, analyzing and presenting a scholarly study and dissertation.
