Saint Joseph’s University’s accredited Associate Degree in Radiography will prepare you for a career providing quality patient care. You will learn how to create radiographic images that assist with the examination, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions in the body. In addition to radiography classes, you will receive specialized instruction, vast clinical experience and guaranteed clinical placements to ensure your success.
This 69-credit associate degree program can be completed in as little as two years and provides the preparation necessary to become an entry-level radiographer.
Guaranteed Clinical Placements
You are guaranteed clinical placements at premier locations in Pennsylvania, something many other schools don't offer. Most schools require that students find clinical placements on their own and do not assist with this process like Saint Joseph's does. You will have the opportunity to experience working in clinical settings with expert faculty, helping transfer knowledge and skills from the classroom to in-person patient experiences. You will learn critical thinking, collaboration and problem-solving by engaging in realistic scenarios staged in real-world medical environments.
What is Radiography?
Radiography uses a variety of sophisticated digital imaging technology to obtain a clear picture of the organs, bones, tissues and vessels that comprise the human body. Digital radiography has become the standard in diagnostic imaging, and radiographers who operate this equipment are an essential part of healthcare teams.
