Executive MBA for Osteopathic Physicians

For more than 30 years, Saint Joseph’s University has offered an exclusive industry-focused MBA program designed for working professionals in all areas of healthcare delivery. We now offer a healthcare-focused Executive MBA program, endorsed by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), that has been designed exclusively for members of the AOA. Our physician students learn to think strategically as healthcare policies and regulations, patient expectations, and compliance considerations continue to evolve. This unique environment enables students to bring applicable lessons immediately from the classroom to the workplace – enhancing ROI.

Accelerated, Industry-Focused Curriculum

This unique online Executive MBA model provides the practicing physician with an opportunity to complete an AACSB-accredited program that is compatible with the demands of a medical practice schedule. Our curriculum exposes students to a variety of relevant topics, addressing the successful business of healthcare delivery, strategic management and competitive intelligence for providers and their networks. In addition, all quantitative MBA courses in accounting, finance, analytics and forecasting use industry-specific examples, such as hospital/network financial statements and service-line data to illustrate their respective areas of business acumen.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit

As our partner institution, the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine will sponsor all coursework for AOA category 1-B CME credit. PCOM’s fully staffed Office of Continuing Education will provide administrative support for the filing of credit for students enrolled in the program.
