Overview
The Student Health Center is a source of clear and up-to-date medical information and strives to care for the whole person; sexuality and sexual health inclusive. This care is rendered in a confidential, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment.
Services
Services offered at the Student Health Center
- Sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment
- Testing can be charged to your insurance or the student can opt to pay out of pocket for the lab. The most common labs done are: Chlamydia and N. gonorrhea, HIV, and Syphilis. Contact the health center for up to date pricing.
- Pregnancy testing
- Free of charge.
- Trans Care – support services including administration of hormone therapy
- The health center does not prescribe hormones, but will administer it free of charge. Please contact health@sju.edu for more information on accessing this service.
