Athlete Center for Enrichment
The Athlete Center for Enrichment (ACE) office monitors the academic progress of student-athletes in compliance with Saint Joseph's University, Atlantic 10 and NCAA rules and regulations. We provide services for student-athletes to help them reach their academic goals and serve as secondary advisors, as well as serve as liaisons between the athletic department, faculty and administration.
Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT)
The Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), a multi-disciplinary group of administrators at Saint Joseph's University, evaluates and addresses student behaviors that may be inappropriate or disruptive and may include mental health and/or safety issues. We coordinate with the University to intervene and provide support for students.
Career Center
The Career Center at Saint Joseph's University strives to prepare and empower students and alumni to discern and achieve professional goals throughout their lifetime. We connect students and alumni with experiential and professional opportunities and resources through our strong relationships with industry and campus partners.
China Program
Saint Joseph's University's Office of China Programs has successfully developed close academic relationships and exchanges with leading universities in China. We partner with selective Chinese universities and institutions to offer degrees to bright and talented Chinese students who wish to get their graduate degrees in the U.S.
Community Standards
The Office of Community Standards educates and administers policies and expectations designed to promote a safe, respectful, inclusive and welcoming educational environment at Saint Joseph's University. We establish and executive processes intended to educate and hold accountable those in violation of the regulations and deter further violations.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) office provides a variety of therapeutic interventions and outreach programs to promote the psychological wellbeing of Saint Joseph's University students. Our services include individual and group counseling, workshops on specialized topics and outreach programs.
Center for International Programs
The Center for International Programs (CIP) provides information and services to students who wish to study abroad on a short-term or long-term academic program. We also help implement international education initiatives on campus and support the University's International Travel Policy.
Office of Learning Resources
The Office of Learning Resources (OLR) empowers students to make a successful academic transition to the University and meet their academic goals. We offer services such as peer tutoring, supplemental instruction, one-on-one learning support and college transition coaching.
Public Safety and Security
The Office of Public Safety and Security maintains the highest level of security possible on Saint Joseph's University's campus and within the University's facilities and leads emergency and crisis management. We also implement crime prevention and security awareness initiatives throughout the school year.
Office of Residence Life
The Office of Residence Life strives to provide secure, academically focused housing for Saint Joseph's students while fostering a civil and welcoming community and supporting a positive living-learning environment reflective of Ignatian ideals.
Off Campus Student Life
Through support, outreach and accountability, the Off Campus Student Life aims to provide students who are living in Wynnefield, Overbrook Farms, Bala Cynwyd, Merion Station, Manayunk, Spruce Hill, Cedar Park, University City and other surrounding neighborhoods a positive quality of life in their communities.
Office of Student Disability Services
The Office of Student Disability Services' mission is to ensure equal access to the learning environment by providing academic accommodations to eligible students. We use an interactive, individualized process to establish appropriate academic accommodations for students.
Student Health Center
The Student Health Center at Saint Joseph's University provides high-quality healthcare resources and promotes positive health practices that facilitate the development of the whole person. We assist students in the pursuit of their academic goals and personal development by identifying and addressing health situations that may impede student learning.
Student Leadership and Activities (SLA)
The Student Leadership and Activities (SLA) office creates opportunities for undergraduate students to make connections and develop a sense of belonging in the University community. We support student-led organizations and programs, train and cultivate student leaders, host annual events and provide spaces for social development.
Office of Student Support & Well-being
In the Jesuit spirit of caring for the "whole person," the Office of Student Support & Well-being offers individual support, guidance, and referral to helpful resources to all students who are facing critical incidents and difficult situations that may impact their social, personal and/or academic stability. Our services include case management, alcohol and drug education, sexual misconduct prevention and collegiate recovery.
Office of Student Success
The Office of Student Success supports and assists students facing obstacles during their college life such as academic concerns, emotional issues, social transition and disciplinary actions by connecting them to campus resources and coaching them on positive learning strategies.
Office of Student Transitions
The Office of Student Transitions helps first-generation college students, transfer students, commuter students and first-year students get acclimated to the University by providing various programming and resources based on their needs.
