Ways to Stay Connected

APEX celebrates and values the 1000+ SJU alumni who have participated in APEX throughout its 30 year history, the dozens of community service partners and sites, and the many friends of APEX, both on and off campus, who continue to support and sustain this experiential program. 

Here are some ways you can stay connected and involved:

  • Donate! - One of the best ways to give back to APEX is through a financial contribution.  The cost of this program continues to rise and it is not possible for students to cover the full cost on their own.  Alumni and friends of APEX are encouraged to donate to support the current SJU APEX Community so they can continue the 30+ year tradition of encountering the communities of Appalachia through kinship and service.  
  • APEX Newsletter - This is a monthly publication during the academic year.  Sign up to receive this newsletter via email to hear all about the last updates and to continue your connection to the APEX community. 
  • SJU APEX Community on LinkedIn - With 30+ years of APEX and 4,000+ alumni, we invite you to connect and reconnect with each other, with the current community of APEX participants, and the APEX program. 
  • Stay connected and be involved with APEX!  - Click this link to stay connected and explore all the ways alumni can continue their connection to APEX.  We are pleased to announce the creation of the APEX Alumni Affinity Group!  This group is open to all SJU alumni who have participated in APEX and who wish to continue their connection to and support of APEX.  Learn more about the Affinity Group! 
  • Serve as an APEX Facilitator - 1-2 APEX alumni are invited to serve as facilitators for each APEX Site. Learn more about the Facilitator Role and Responsibilities.

Events

There will be a bunch of new events co-hosted with the Office of Alumni for Alumni who participants in APEX as undergrads. These events can be listed here once confirmed.

 

APEX Community Bingo Night 

Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 7:00 pm in Doyle South

All APEX alumni and current students are invited to play, mingle, connect and reconnect as we celebrate one of the pillars of APEX: COMMUNITY!  Interested students can learn more about participating in APEX.
