Transfer Information Session
October 26 or November 30
Transfer information sessions are small question and answer sessions designed for students transferring from another college or university. You and your family are encouraged to visit to meet with an admissions staff member to discuss transferring credits, choosing a major, and learning more about life on Hawk Hill.
Transfer Decision Day
November 17 or December 7
Meet one-on-one with a transfer counselor to discuss the admission, financial aid, and the transfer credit evaluation process. Come see what life can be like for you if you continue your degree at Saint Joseph's University. Students must bring their college transcript(s) to receive a preliminary credit evaluation and an on-the-spot transfer decision.
Open Houses are offered four times throughout the year for prospective undergraduate and transfer students. While you’re here, you’ll learn more about SJU through a presentation with an admissions counselor, take a guided campus tour with a current student and enjoy lunch in our dining hall. Featured topics of the day will include: student and campus life at SJU, academic opportunities, the admissions process, living and learning in Philadelphia and more.

Admission Interviews are available for high school seniors to meet one-on-one with a representative from the Office of Undergraduate Admission. During your interview you will have the opportunity to discuss your academic record, accomplishments, future goals, as well as ask any questions you may have about SJU or the application process. Interviews are not required for admission consideration; students who are unable to interview are not at a disadvantage during the application process. Interviews typically last 30 minutes.
Please note interviews are only available for high school seniors. We encourage scheduling an interview before submitting your application.
Meet with an admissions staff member or an alumnus to learn about Saint Joseph's University at an upcoming college fair near you. Additional college fairs are added as dates are confirmed.
Schools or organizations wishing to bring groups of 10 or more high school aged students are welcome to request a visit on a Tuesday or Thursday. The campus tour takes place from 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. We ask that requests are made at least three weeks in advance of your planned visit day.
We love having high school counselors, independent counselors, and community-based organization counselors that work with college bound students on campus. Visit our school counselor specific webpage below for visit options.
