I am a general surgeon and specialize in the surgical treatment of disease with a focus on breast and colon cancer, as well as surgical and medical weight loss.

 Watching my two children graduate from high school and start college.

A leader that I admire is Colin Powell. He was intelligent, thoughtful and well respected by all.
 

 Be bold and do not be afraid to dream big. There will be obstacles, but be determined and follow your heart.

The biggest obstacle I have overcome is being told I cannot do something. My athletic background, great role models and belief in God have given me the strength to overcome adversity.

My Saint Joseph’s education helped me in two meaningful ways. First, it gave me the academic foundation to succeed in medical school. Secondly, the Ignatian principle, men and women with and for others, has kept me grounded and focused on helping others.
