Overview
SJU provides housing options for students participating in summer internships in the Philadelphia area. Our facilities, conveniently located just a block away from Overbrook station, provide an ideal location for students interning in the city or along the Main Line. Our fully furnished Morris Townhouses offer students affordable, comfortable accommodations during their summer internships. Additionally, amenities include on-site parking, laundry facilities, and the opportunity to connect with a community of fellow young professionals working in the area. We are not able to accommodate move-ins prior to May 31, 2025.

In preparation for student move-in, we are not able to accommodate stays past Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Yes, you are able to move out early if necessary. You are required to notify the Conference and Event Services team at least 72 hours prior to leaving. No refund will be issued for early move outs and you are still responsible for the full summer rate of $3,000.

The following items are provided in the Townhouses:
- Standard Twin Bed
- Dresser
- Desk
- Full Kitchen
- Living Room Furniture
- Dining Table and Chairs
All other items should be brought for your stay, including but not limited to the following:
- Cookware
- Dining utensils
- Linens
- Toiletries
- Televisions

Saint Joseph’s University dining facilities will be open on a limited basis. Starbucks, located on 54th street, will be open, but operating on shortened hours. A variety of off-campus food options are available on City Avenue and Lancaster Avenue. Hours of operation can be found here.

Yes, parking will be included in your rate for your stay. A pass will be given to you at check-in if you indicate that you will be parking a vehicle on campus. The pass will only be valid for use in the Townhouse parking lot.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available. Details will be available upon check-in.

Yes, guests are allowed to stay up to 48 continuous hours. We recommend checking with your roommates prior to having an overnight guest stay.

Yes, gym membership is available for the summer. If you are interested, please indicate your preference on the application.

In the event of life-threatening emergencies, please call 911. In the event of non-life-threatening emergencies, Saint Joseph’s University Public Safety can be reached at 610-660-1111. For all other situations, a member of the Conference and Event Services team will be on-call 24/7 and can be reached at 610-660-1052
