PHILADELPHIA COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE INFORMATION SESSION
Listen to this recording to learn about the variety of health professions programs our City Avenue neighbor offers! Programs include options in Medicine (DO), Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Forensic Medicine as well as additional Masters, PsyD and PhD programs in Professional and Applied Psychology.

Listen to Kelly Ryan, a current senior who will begin her MD program at Jefferson in Fall 2022 and Dr. Joseph McCleery, Assistant Professor of Psychology, discuss this unique program and amazing opportunity for just the right student(s). Prerequisites include:
- Major or minor in Autism Behavioral Studies
- 3.5 GPA
- Clinical hours working with individuals with autism

Gap Year Options, Alumni Share Their Experiences
Many SJU alumni took a gap year before going to medical school, nursing school, PA school, dental school, PT/OT school, or starting other allied health programs. The Institute of Clinical Bioethics, in collaboration with Health Professions Advising offer suggestions on how to make it a rewarding year.
Alumni share their experiences in: NIH Research, Clinical Research, Post-Bac Programs, Public Health, Scribe America, ACE/SJU Program, Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry, etc.
MCAT Test Prep
Representatives from Examkrackers and The Princeton Review discuss the different MCAT Test Prep options for college students.
Medical Admissions Panel
Listen to admissions experts discuss their input on how to successfully apply to a variety of health professional schools". Representatives include Kevin Zajac from PCOM, Bonnie Emilius from Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Aimee Viggiani from USciences and Kara Fraiman from Penn Dental. The panel is moderated by Dr. Louise Russo, Director of Health Professions at Villanova University.
