For undergraduate students, contact your academic advisor for your registration pin. For more information, click here.

When registering for courses, an arrow window may pop up describing a particular error. This may prevent you from registering for a course. To identify the error and what steps to take next, visit the Registration Problems Guide by Academic Advising or click here.

During the registration period, you can join a waitlist for a particular course that is full. For detailed instructions on how to join the waitlist, please click here.

You can view your class schedule for the current or previous semester through the Nest.
- Click on the Students tab in the top right section of the page
- Under Advising Resources, click on Access Student Profile
- In the left side menu, select Student Schedule

To withdraw from a course,
- See the Academic Calendar for withdrawal deadlines
- You are required to consult with your advisor and obtain their approval to withdraw prior to submitting an online course withdrawal request.
- Submit the online Course Withdrawal Form.
- Please notify your professor that you have withdrawn from the course.

Visit the Final Exam Schedule to see the location and time of your final exam.
Major and Minors

To declare a minor, submit this online form. Please note that an advisor's approval is not required.
After you submit this form,
- Your request form will be forwarded to the Chair/Program Director of your intended minor/certificate program. The Chair/Program Director may request a meeting with you to discuss the major requirements and your interest in the minor.
- When your minor/certificate declaration is approved, you will receive an email confirmation.
- Forms will be forwarded to the Registrar’s Office for processing.
- In the Nest, your student profile will be updated to reflect your new curriculum.
Please note that this process may take up to two weeks to complete.

To drop a secondary major or minor, you can submit a request directly to the Registrar’s Office through this form. Your request does not need to be approved by your faculty advisor, but you are encouraged to discuss this decision with them.
Student Records

To give permission to someone such as a parent, spouse, or relative to discuss Academic Information, Financial Aid, and/or Account and Billing Information with someone from Saint Joseph’s University, please follow the instructions found here.
Please note this does not give parents access to the Nest and there is no parent login available.

All students can order an official copy of their transcript through the National Student Clearinghouse.

A degree verification verifies the degree and date that the student obtained at the University, which can be used for employment purposes. Saint Joseph’s University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree verifications.

An enrollment verification is a document that provides a student's enrollment status based on the number of credits enrolled. You can access your enrollment verification certificate 24/7 through The Nest.
- Click on the Students tab in the top right section of the page
- Under Registration Resources, select Obtain Enrollment Verification
- Select the verification you are seeking and click on Obtain Enrollment Certificate. Your enrollment certificate will be downloaded as a PDF document.

Enrollment status indicates whether you are considered a full-time, half-time, or less than half-time student.
For undergraduate students, the credits are:
- 1-5 credits = Less than Half-time Status
- 6-11 credits = Half-time Status
- 12 credits and more = Full-time Status
For graduate students, the credits are:
- 1-2 credits = Less than Half-time Status
- 3-5 credits = Half-time Status
- 6 credits and more = Full-time Status

For each class level, the credits needed are
- Freshman: less than 24 credits
- Sophomore: 24-53 credits
- Junior: 54-83 credits
- Senior: 84+ credits

Degree Works is a web-based application to assist students and advisors in monitoring student’s progress toward degree completion. Your Degree Works can be accessed through the Nest, under the Students page.
