Overview
Saint Joseph’s University is approved by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, that assesses institutions for the highest available form of accreditation. In addition to Middle States accreditation, many of our academic programs are also accredited by their respective agencies.
Assessment serves to improve programs and services based on our University mission, ensuring the efficient use of resources and supporting the creation of actionable plans for improvement. Assessments are conducted in support of student learning, curricular efficacy, program efficiency, and progress toward the strategic plan.
