Saint Joseph’s Agreement with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
The multiyear agreement begins fall 2025 with the first BSN cohort utilizing these immersive experiences in simulation and clinical classwork.
Access to State-of-the-Art Facilities
Saint Joseph’s University has entered into an agreement with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) to offer an 11, 000 sq. ft. facility with state-of-the-art simulation, skill lab spaces and supporting resources to Saint Joseph’s nursing students at its Philadelphia location. The location will offer standard simulation with medium and high fidelity manikins, standardized patient simulations with patient actors and space for virtual reality simulation as part of the BSN nursing program.
The simulation is designed to provide a safe, non-judgmental learning space for all students to enhance their clinical judgment and decision making while preparing them as practice-ready graduates. Students are educated to provide care for the whole patient including the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspect of a person.
