The Saint Joseph’s University chapter of Sigma Pi Sigma, the Physics Honors Society, inducted four new student members just nine days short of the 70th anniversary of the chapter’s founding.
Jordan Butt ’21, Katherine Cucinotta ’21, Francis Snyder ’21 (not pictured), and Alexander Manduca ’22, were inducted into the society during a virtual ceremony on April 21, 2021, attended by the students and faculty of the physics department. Department chair, Dr. Piotr Habdas, and the host, Dr. Mark Scafonas ’01, are also pictured.
