Saint Joseph’s Biggest Day of Giving Fundraiser Ever
On March 19, 2025, the Saint Joseph’s community will have the opportunity to get in the game and unlock funding for more special projects and programs than ever before.

Saint Joseph’s University’s annual Day of Giving is bigger than ever in 2025. Set to return this year with the goal of raising over $750,000 from at least 3,000 donors in 24 hours, Day of Giving has the power to level up the St. Joe’s experience. The fundraiser kicks off on Wednesday, March 19.
As in years past, Day of Giving aims to support financial aid and scholarships through the Saint Joseph’s Fund, the student-athlete experience through Hawk Athletics challenges and autism-related programs and training through the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support. In addition to these Day of Giving mainstays, the Saint Joseph’s community will have the opportunity to support more programs and projects than ever before.
“As Saint Joseph’s continues to grow, Day of Giving has expanded to keep pace,” says Saint Joseph’s University President Cheryl A. McConnell, PhD. “We pride ourselves on providing high-quality education and ensuring that our students have the resources, opportunities and support they need to thrive. Fundraising efforts – like Day of Giving – help fuel scholarships, academic innovation and the transformational experiences that define a Saint Joseph’s education.”
Day of Giving has grown into a community-wide day of celebration for the St. Joe’s experience, which means community members can customize how they get involved.
Hawks can participate in the day in person on Hawk Hill, in University City or Lancaster; online; or at one of three regional alumni chapter events in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Chicago. A team of dedicated Day of Giving Ambassadors will also be spreading the word about challenges and goals via email, social media and word of mouth.
