Saint Joseph’s University mourns the loss of Mark Dombroski ’21, a freshman business major from Media, Pennsylvania.
Dombroski was a key member of SJU’s rugby team and recently competed in the Ariel Re Bermuda International Sevens Tournament with the club. He was a graduate of Archmere Academy in Claymont, Delaware.
A prayer service was held on campus on Monday, March 19, in the Chapel of St. Joseph-Michael J. Smith, S.J., Memorial, after the announcement of Dombroski’s passing. Details on further memorial services and opportunities to honor his life will be forthcoming.
“The University community is heartbroken at the loss of a life so full of promise,” says Mark C. Reed, Ed.D., president of Saint Joseph’s. “Mark leaves behind a family, friends, classmates and teammates who loved him dearly. I know ours is a community that stands together and will support one another as we remember Mark and begin to heal.”
