Before joining AIG, Duperreault was chairman and CEO of Hamilton Insurance Group and served as president and CEO of Marsh & McLennan Companies. He also served as a non-executive chairman and CEO of ACE Limited.
In addition to his business success, Duperreault has long committed himself to making a difference for Saint Joseph’s students. He helped guide the University through its acquisition of the Episcopal Academy property in Lower Merion as a University trustee and has provided philanthropic support of the Maguire Academy and other Haub programs that educate future leaders. Duperreault recently joined Haub’s Executive in Residence program as a professional resource for undergraduate and graduate students, providing practical mentorship and experience through a mix of teaching, office hours, career coaching and lectures.
The Maguire Academy celebration honoring Duperreault brought together leaders from across the insurance industry. The Maguire Foundation, AIG and many other corporations, businesses and individuals stepped forward as event sponsors. Proceeds from the evening benefit the Academy's analytics initiative, which enables students to experience first-hand the role of analytics and the digital transformation happening in the industry. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Campus Ministry Associate Fund, which supports the work of apprentice Campus ministers serving and learning among young people on the Saint Joseph’s campus.
