Luke Schlegel graduated from Ursinus College with a B.A. in English in 2017. He ran on the varsity cross country and track teams and worked as a resident advisor for three years. He received his M.Ed. in School Counseling from Eastern University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. Luke worked at Eastern University with the College Success Program, designed to support undergraduate students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. After working as a school counselor for a few years, he joined the Kinney Center staff in December 2022.
Luke works as an Assistant Director of College Support for the ASPIRE program. He uses a holistic approach to help students feel valued and empowered. He enjoys working with individuals on the autism spectrum so he can encourage and challenge them to gain important executive functioning and social skills. Luke looks forward to working with students and their families to help them be successful at the college level and beyond.
