Corpus Christi Art Scholarship
Overview
The Corpus Christi Scholarship Fund was established in 1993 through the generosity of the Jesuit community and Dennis McNally, S.J., Ph.D. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist art students who demonstrate financial need. Fr. McNally has built this endowment through the sales of his paintings, stipends from masses and donations from the McNally family.
About Fr. McNally
Fr. McNally's Jesuit training was inseparable from his art. By integrating his work with the Spiritual Exercises, he used imagination in an attempt to connect with God. He explored what God must think of the way we conduct our lives and his internal struggle with tragedy. The paintings were at the center of Fr. McNally's prayer life.
