Staff and Instructors

Volunteering at the Barnes Arboretum at Saint Joseph’s University provides unique access to the arboretum, educational and public programs, as well as opportunities to enjoy camaraderie with fellow horticulture, plants, nature and education enthusiasts. • Communicate actively and well

• Be flexible and adapt to changes

• Be able to work in a dynamic environment with visitors, staff, students and volunteers from diverse backgrounds

• Be well-prepared, dependable and punctual

Volunteer obligations:

• Complete the onboarding process including background check.

• Adhere to the volunteer guidelines

• Have a valid e-mail address with reliable access to the internet

• Complete the volunteer training program
