Connect: Alumni Chapters
Overview
SJU’s alumni network is over 100,000 strong, and our chapters serve a vital role in connecting alumni to each other and to the university. Regional and Affinity Chapters engage local communities, extending the university’s impact far beyond campus. Our Chapters invite you and other alumni to enjoy a variety of events while deepening your social and professional ties. Alumni Chapters also offer leadership opportunities that develop your interpersonal, organizational, and creative-thinking skills—where you can work with our National Alumni Board and university staff in creating meaningful and inspiring experiences for your Hawk community. Further, Regional Ambassadors serve as alumni representatives in cities near and far, providing additional opportunities for alumni to connect in regions without a formal chapter presence. If you are not receiving emails about events in your area, please update your contact information update your contact information.
Regional Chapters
Regional Chapters provide alumni with the opportunity to connect with friends old and new, continue to learn for a lifetime, give back to their local community, and explore professional opportunities – all in their own region! We welcome all alumni, students, parents and friends of SJU who live or spend time in the region. Our Chapter boards feature a dynamic group of alumni leaders who sit in the driver's seat when it comes to planning and executing events. We partner with members on our National Alumni Board to create inclusive communities for all alumni and are always excited to connect with fellow Hawks interested in becoming more active in their region. See below for a listing of our Regional Chapters and volunteer leaders. We look forward to hearing from you!

Regional Ambassadors
Ambassadors are invaluable members of our robust SJU Alumni community, helping our National Alumni Board extend its reach and connect with alumni nationwide. Just because a region may have a smaller SJU alumni presence, doesn’t mean the Hawk pride isn’t alive and well! Ambassadors serve as a university connection for the region and help facilitate opportunities for alumni to come together, outside of a formal chapter structure. See below for a current listing of our Regional Ambassadors and please complete this Ambassador interest form if you would like to be considered for a Regional Ambassador position in your location. We look forward to hearing from you!

Affinity Chapters
The SJU experience extends far beyond campus and long after graduation. Friendships and relationships that began on campus continue for decades, enriching personal lives and careers. Affinity Chapters offer a unique opportunity for alumni to engage one another and the University through professional development, social networking, volunteer outings, and constructive current student engagement. These networks are built to link alumni through activities and philanthropy related to affinity connection. We provide alumni with access to unlimited learning and create communities for Hawks who share similar academic and professional interests. See below for a listing of our Affinity Chapters and volunteer leaders. We look forward to hearing from you!
