SJU Brings Service, Music to Community With Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration

<p>Though Jan. 16 kicks off the first week of the spring 2012 semester at Saint Joseph&rsquo;s University, no classes will be held Monday. Instead, student-athletes will come together in service to others as part of SJU&rsquo;s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebration. The 2012 holiday marks the 26th anniversary of the holiday&rsquo;s national observance &ndash; it was first officially celebrated on Jan. 18, 1986.</p>


SJU Theater Company to Present 'Miss Saigon'

<p>The Saint Joseph&rsquo;s University Theatre Company is turning up the heat this winter with a performance of the musical&nbsp;<em style="border-style: initial; border-color: initial; ">Miss Saigon</em>. The show opens Thursday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. in Bluett Theatre, and runs through Sunday, Feb. 26.</p>
