Details: The Saint Joseph's University chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) will honor the Philadelphia Phillies organization with the annual Marketer of the Year Award on Thursday, Oct. 6.
PHILADELPHIA (July 25, 2011) – The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Marketing Association (PAMA) – a professional association for marketers, educators and students across the Greater Philadelphia region – recently announced the dates of the second “Certificate in Marketing Excellence” program, a series of six strategic marketing strategy sessions in cooperation with Saint Joseph’s University’s Haub School of Business.
John Stanton, Ph.D., professor of food marketing, and his wife, Carol, believe in the power of education. The couple recently endowed the James J. Neville, S.J. scholarship for students in Saint Joseph's University's food marketing program. Valued at $50,000, this is the third scholarship supported by the Stantons since 2001.
Partnering with Follett Bookstore Management, this fall’s Marketing Research Practicum cohort designed and implemented a strategic campaign that increased the SJU Bookstore’s Facebook “Likes,” website visits, store visits and overall sales. Follett, SJU Bookstore’s corporate partner, has agreed to continue working with future Practicum cohorts because of the success of the project, and suggests the project’s potential to go national.
