Haub School Ranked No. 4 for Return on Investment

Scholarship Awarded to Student Committed to Hunger Relief

PHILADELPHIA (May 13, 2013) – Madison Alexandra Smith '13 of Grantville, Pa., is the recipient of the inaugural Patrick Temple-West Scholarship. Valued at $5,000, this is an annual scholarship funded Saint Joseph's University's Academy of Food Marketing.

Scholarship recipients are of high academic standing and must demonstrate a commitment to hunger relief, something Temple-West dedicated his career to addressing.

SJU Student Awarded Barry Goldwater Scholarship

PHILADELPHIA (April 30, 2013) — Shannon Spencer, a junior biology major/ chemistry minor from Swarthmore, Pa., has been named a 2013 Barry Goldwater Scholar. Established by Congress in 1986 to honor the late Senator Barry M. Goldwater, the program provides scholarships for up to $7,500 to distinguished undergraduate students majoring in science, mathematics and engineering.


Food Marketing Students Recognized by Genuardi’s

PHILADELPHIA (April 26, 2013) - The Genuardi Family Foundation has awarded two Saint Joseph’s University students academic scholarships. The awards, in honor of the Genuardi brothers, were given to sophomores in the food marketing program and will go toward the students’ remaining tuition at SJU.


Food Marketing Program Receives $1 Million Donation

Saint Joseph's University's Academy of Food Marketing received its largest donation to date on Tuesday, April 23, from Wakefern Food Corp., headquartered in Keasbey, N.J. The $1 million donation will fund scholarships at the University and support programming for the 540 students enrolled in the University's food marketing program.

McFarland Scholarship, granting her  $20,000 to study at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. This award marks the fourth consecutive year an SJU student has received a scholarship from the Saint Andrew’s Society.
