Canines on Campus

As SJU students prepare for final exams, therapy dogs visit the library to help them de-stress with some canine companionship. First offered in fall 2012, PAWS for a Study Break engages students to mingle and nuzzle with the dogs. In pre- and post-PAWS surveys, students reported a 50 percent reduction in stress and said they felt relaxed and ready to get back to studying.
