Managing Human Capital M.S.
Saint Joseph's master of science in managing human capital offers students a unique approach to business education, designed specifically for those who wish to become strategic partners within their organization. Students in this program are exposed to a comprehensive and integrative curriculum that includes strategic human capital management, business ethics and data-driven decision making, as well as finance and accounting. This training allows for students to have an immediate impact on department and organizational performance.
This program prepares 21st century professionals to lead as thoughtful managers with a clear understanding of the role of the individual as a stakeholder. In addition to attracting, developing and retaining the best talent, students learn how to motivate and manage people to contribute in ways that lead to excellent organizational performance. Students come with diverse professional backgrounds and do not need human capital or human resources experience for this program. Our students are a combination of professionals and full-time students seeking to deepen their skills in human capital and talent management, human resources management and leadership.
The program may be completed on a part-time or full-time basis and is aligned with the curricular guidelines recommended by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) for graduate study.
