In December of 2005, the Office of Institutional Diversity was established to coordinate the University’s diversity initiatives. The establishment of this office signals the University’s commitment to redirect and strengthen its efforts in the area of diversity.
The Office of Institutional Diversity works collaboratively with various university departments to enhance campus climate, increase recruitment and retention of under represented faculty, staff and students and to provide diverse learning experiences that are imperative for a well rounded education.
