Saint Joseph’s University’s  Professional and Liberal Studies department is excited to welcome transfer students from other two- and four-year colleges and universities. We invite you to schedule a personal appointment to discuss your transfer credit and to design the right program for your goals and needs. For more information please call 610.660.1267 or email

Additional Information on transfer process:

If you are applying to one of our degree or certificate programs with transfer credit from another college or university, you must request an official transcript(s) from each college or university you attended. If you have less than 30 transferable credits, your official high school or GED transcript will also be required. Only grades of C or better will be transferred. A maximum of 75 credits (25 courses) may be transferred to the baccalaureate degree program through PLS.

International students must provide official transcript(s) from each high school and university previously attended, translated into English, and a course-by-course evaluation from an approved international credential evaluation service must be submitted.

Articulation Agreements:

The Professional and Liberal Studies department has a growing list of articulation agreements with partner schools including Community College of Philadelphia, Delaware County Community College, Montgomery County Community College, Burlington County Community College, and Bucks County Community College. Additional agreements and seamless transfer opportunities at other community colleges are offered for students interested in our online degree completion programs. Please contact or 610-660-1267 for more information.
