Online MBA

The Online MBA program aims to build on your managerial effectiveness and leadership potential, while fostering sensitivity to the ethical, moral, and cultural aspects of contemporary global society. The MBA curriculum is designed to leverage the changeability of the 21st century global business environment and offers you coursework developed in consultation with corporate stakeholders. The Online MBA offers all foundation, gateway, core, and elective courses for flexible online study. We will offer a variety of online formats, including 8 week and 15 week semesters. Each semester is broken into halves and provides a selection of courses to choose from:

You must choose three electives at level 560 or above that are open to MBA students. Three electives in the same subject, e.g. Finance, will result in an MBA concentration degree; three electives in different subjects will result in a general MBA degree. Concentrations are available in seven subject areas.

Admission Requirements

Below you will find a brief overview of our admission policies and MBA prerequisite coursework. Please contact us with questions or to schedule an advising appointment.

1. Undergraduate degree, official copies of transcripts from any institution attended. Students may need foundation courses depending on grades and previous coursework
2. Standardized test scores (GMAT or GRE). Foreign applicants whose native language is not English are required to take the TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE English Proficiency test
3. Two letters of recommendation
4. Business resume
5. Personal statement

Prerequisite Coursework

The following foundations are required (each is 3 credits). Up to 20 credits may be waived in favor of previous coursework or examination.

ACC 500 - Accounting Concepts
DSS 525 - Contemporary Information Technologies
FIN 500 - Managerial Economics
FIN 503 - Financial Management
MGT 500 - Managing Work Organizations
MKT 501 - Marketing Concepts

If you do not have a proficiency in Mathematics or Statistics, you may be required to successfully complete DSS 500, a one credit math workshop and/or DSS 510, a one-credit statistics refresher course.

Tuition

Tuition and fees for the 2013-14 academic year are $ 918 per credit, $ 2,754 per 3-credit class

Examples based on current tuition rates:

MBA degree with all prerequisite courses (53 credits) and core courses and electives is $ 48,654

MBA degree with prerequisites waived and core courses and electives only (33 credits) is $ 30,294
