Students may substitute up to two (2) courses (six credit hours) from the M.S. in Criminal Justice, M.S. in Public Safety Management and M.S. in Homeland Security programs.

Post-Master’s Certificate in Environmental Protection and Safety Management
Students who already possess a Master’s degree and complete six (6) courses of study as determined through consultation with the Program Director, will be awarded a Post-Master’s Certificate in Environmental Protection and Safety Management. The curriculum will be customized to individual’s needs and courses will be elected from the offerings with consideration to the professional and personal goals of the individual student. Students who complete the Post-Master's certificate program may apply those credit hours towards a Master of Science in Environmental Protection and Safety Management.

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Environmental Protection and Safety Management
Students who are interested in a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Environmental Protection and Safety Management must complete a total of the following six (6) courses for the certificate:

Students who register for the Post-Baccalaureate certificate program may transfer these courses to the applicable master’s degree program if they wish to pursue the graduate degree.

Students must submit an updated application and meet all M.S. degree requirements.
