Reading Supervisory Program

Post Master's Program

The Reading Supervisory Program provides opportunities to develop administrative and interpersonal skills needed for educational leadership positions. The main goal of the program is to develop future supervisors who are broadly educated, work effectively with constituencies, facilitate growth and change, comprehend good practices of law and organization, practice effective organizational development, and promote an orderly and productive school environment.

Pre-requisites for acceptance into this program are a Level I or Level II certificate, and the Reading Specialist Certification.

Candidates in a Post Master's Program will need to speak to an advisor prior to applying. All of the candidates’ undergraduate coursework must be in conformity with the guidelines established for Saint Joseph’s teacher certification programs. Formal acceptance into the graduate education program cannot be granted until all prerequisite coursework is successfully completed.

To learn more about our graduate programs, prospective students are encouraged to attend a Graduate Open House.
