Stephanie A. Tryce, J.D.
Ms. Tryce is an Assistant Professor of Sport Marketing. She began her teaching career as a Lecturer in the Mark H. McCormack Sport Management Department at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst where she taught various sport law courses. Upon returning to her native Philadelphia, Professor Tryce practiced law full-time and was Affiliated Faculty in the Legal Studies and Business Ethics Department of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Adjunct Faculty in the Sport Management Department at the University of Delaware.
Professor Tryce has presented at annual conferences for Wayne State University's Careers in Sport, the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport, and the Sport and Recreation Law Association. Additionally, Professor Tryce assisted with editing the 3rd edition of the Essentials of Sport Law, co-authored a book chapter in the 3rd edition of Law for Sport and Recreation Managers titled "Employment Law and Sport: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964", and published an article in the Special Issue for the Journal of the Study of Sports and Athletics in Education.
